For your ethics-related term project (see “Course Information” tab for details): Let us continue to develop it step by step over the semester so that it will be manageable rather than a crunch at the end, as follows. Write up an outline or plan of 200 words or more (per person if a group project) if your progress involved developing content (for example, for a paper or a website) for your project. This can involve steps to take, structure of the paper, website or other creative product, or whatever is needed. Put this in your blog, labeling it consistently as in this example.

• Choose between a specific crypto rug pull or the broad topic of crypto rug pulls

  • Is there a specific cryptocurrency that I want to cover?

  • Have I chosen a rug pull that has been legally investigated or is it just speculation? Does it matter?

• Figure out how to symbolize the crypto rug pulls

  • What are the symbols that are most likely to be noticed?

    • Maybe use symbols like the SHIBA from Dogecoin or Bitcoin’s B. 

• Use the symbols to plan a visual piece of art

  • Transform the symbols into something artistic

  • Do I want to manipulate the symbols to look differently or leave them in their original form?

  • How literal do I want the art piece to be?

• Implement ethics into the plan

  • How do I display ethics in a piece of art about crypto rug pulls?

  • Have I done enough to make it obvious?

• Create a draft of the art piece outside of Krita

  • This can happen multiple times.

  • What if I am not satisfied with the draft?

• Revise the draft so that it is meaningful and understandable

  • Will people understand visual representation?

  • Try not to make it too complicated (not everyone understands crypto)

  • Revision can happen more than once.

• Recreate the art piece in Krita

  • Re-create, revise, edit, finalize
