Notes on Lecture 9/28/2022

  • I chose Kim Park, Grad Student. She is the most relatable role.

  • I told Greg I needed to read the article first. If the article has my name on it, then, I should read it before signing.

  • I chose to read the article instead of going with Steve. The article is tied to my reputation so my friends can wait. They would understand.

  • I asked Greg about the article. I believe it is better to give someone a chance to explain themselves before automatically suspecting them of misconduct. The outcome of this choice was a bit unrealistic but I guess for the plot it was necessary.

  • Talking to Greg first was the wrong choice.

  • I chose to do research on the university website. I then called the RIO.

  • I spilled the bean. The conversation is confidential anyways.

  • I went to meet with Dr. Ridgley.

  • I chose to stay. I prefer to expose Greg than risk my own reputation.

In the end, I was set back a year. But it was a better choice than risking my career. It is not like we are kids anymore. I am not swayed by being an outcast. I do not play follow the leader. After a while, everyone associated with Greg will leave him. They will realize that risk of being around him. If they do not, then they just are not intelligent enough to understand.
